It’s Crunch Time.

Crunch Time Essays adds a new dimension to your application before the due date.
Understand Your Potential

You’re a leader even when you don’t feel like it. We can show you how to demonstrate that to college admissions counselors.

Improve Your Chances

We’ve helped clients gain admission to schools in tiers they had only hoped for.

Take Advantage Of A Bespoke Opportunity

We work with each client and their personal experiences and particular expertise. Nothing is mass produced.

WHAT WE DO

We work with our clients to develop and write personal essays and opinion pieces (essays published in the opinion section of news outlets) to add a new dimension of thought leadership to their applications for admission. These essays and written articles are tailored to the client’s experience and expertise, even if they’re teenagers.

Why We Do It

There’s a lot that isn’t under an applicant’s control. But there’s also a lot that is. Becoming a thought leader expands the “Notable Accomplishments” and “Resume” parts of the application which are still under the student’s control.

But it also adds to the “Student Brag Sheet” part of an application which is a Gray Area where most applicants don’t know how to impress admissions officers with something new. Crunch Time Essays helps you add something new in the Gray Area.

If an application due date is headed straight for you, there isn’t a lot of time to expand what’s been under your control…unless you work with Crunch Time Essays.

How can I/my child/my advisee work with you?

Because this work is intensive and done by experts, we limit the number of clients every year.

Some spaces are still available but not many.

We encourage potential clients to contact us on the contact page and someone will be back to them shortly, within 24 hours.

We look forward to hearing from you and providing the assistance you need.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve already published essays. Can you help me?

If you’ve already published essays, that’s terrific. Publications in school newspapers are wonderful, too. But most young students haven’t published in mainstream media, not in the outlets that admissions counselors read regularly. The people evaluating your application may come across your name during their daily activities outside of work. So, to answer your question, yes! We can add to/improve any writing portfolio. And we do it quickly.

Isn’t this what I’m supposed to do in my college essay?

Sure, the college essay is a personal essay. And everyone who applies must write one. But everyone who applies won’t have the chance to show off their thought process fully unless they submit a thought leadership portfolio. Your work with us doesn’t get counted under the “essay” category on the application checkbox list (although we can help with that part if you’d like). We add a whole new checkbox for your application, one that indicates your capacity to lead.

What difference does thought leadership make on an application? Why?

A big one. Some applicants don’t have the bravery to explain their thought processes on what happens internally (thoughts and feelings) and externally (world events, news, developments in popular culture). When you work with us, it proves an independence that college admissions counselors must be convinced of to admit you.

As a senior, I’m busy with sports/activities/maintaining my GPA. Do I have time for this?

Absolutely yes. Our specialty is taking a minimum of a student’s time and taking care of the smaller tasks to let you do all you need to do — including enjoying your senior year.

How much does this cost?

We offer different packages depending on what clients need. We are always willing to work with clients on payment plans.

It’s still crunch time.
